Space is where we should be.

Two missions, one lifting off yesterday and the space shuttle in a few days. The space station is getting crowded lately, but that is ok because the station is getting a new compartment and a new arm, as well as a ton of supplies. Some people question if we should be in space at all. And that it is a waste of money. I say that those people are so hopeless that they want everyone to feel the same way. They are trapped on this planet by their own downfalls so they don't think that anyone should even think about the possibilities that there is something amazing just a few miles up. Space is the driving force behind some of the greatest minds in the world. It is the fuel. Take away that, you take away a brilliant child's hope of traveling into space and replace it with a brilliant child who might land a high paying job working for a company like Enron. Space turns people into explorers and it keeps this planet from growing stagnant.
